I grew tomatoes, but with the wet weather, I'm waiting for a bunch to ripen. We didn't lose power during Hurricane Irene. My moonvines are well over 6' tall and on the brink of blooming.
O-dog lost a bunch of teeth, including his two front tops. The Rorster is chatting up a storm. He says, "Sure." His favorite story at the moment is "Winken, Blinken, and Nod," an iPad app that recognizes words read aloud and is animated with paper. He turned 2 last week! While there may come a day that I'll miss the slobber marks on the shoulders of my shirts, I'm not there yet.
For work, I went to Sedona AZ, and while we were there, to the Grand Canyon. It was amazing, and we only saw a small, tiny corner of it. At sunset, there was a storm with thunder and lightning. Driving out after dark, we nearly hit a couple of deer, saw a couple of coyotes on the side of the road, and other animals--bunnies, mice, raccoons--dashed across.
